Brief Introduction

Inclusionality provides no grounds for accepting the existence of an Executive Deity operating upon Nature from outside of Nature. The existence of any such purely external agency, whether called ‘God’, ‘Force’ or ‘Natural Selection’ demands the presence of an absolute demarcation between inside and outside a discrete object, for which there is no evidence, and can be no evidence, in an ‘All’ that includes space as a receptive presence. By the same token, inclusionality provides no grounds for rejecting the occurrence of a Divine orchestrating influence throughout Nature and indeed as Nature as evolutionary Flow.

Inclusionality is hence fully consistent with the kind of spirituality evident in the originators of many of the world’s religions, but not consistent with those orthodox religious establishments that seek to usurp and wield authoritative, hierarchical power and to judge others as ‘good’ (with us) or evil (against us).

Inclusionality is correspondingly consistent with the ‘love of natural neighbourhood as Self’, not with the desire to identify, defeat and eliminate ‘enemies’. Inclusionality entails understanding and respect for natural diversity, whilst caring for and protecting the individual (local) identity that belongs and evolves co-creatively in non-local communion with others.

In short, inclusionality is consistent with an immanent Divinity throughout All, not an eminent Authority Above All, and so is consistent with compassion, not dispassion.
